PHYSICS-Instructional Units

Instructional units are pedagogically cohesive units of knowledge. The order in which they are taught appear in the panel to the left. The length of an instructional unit can vary from as short as two weeks to as long as five weeks. Student mastery of the material is assessed through a variety of means. Homework, labs, and regular announced quizzes are given during each unit. The primary formative assessment tool is a unit exam which is given at the end of each unit.
