1. Imagine you are cutting vegetables for a salad and accidentally cut your finger (not badly but enough so it begins to bleed). Describe how the non-specific immune system (innate immune system) is able to ward off the nasty pathogens (bacteria and viruses) that now have access to your internal environment and would love to set up shop in your body and reproduce wildly.

2. What is an antibody? Describe the different parts and how it functions. Include a labeled illustration of an antibody.
