AP Biology Gang after the Stanley Prusiner Lecture

Commonwealth Club
San Francisco
October 28, 2014

UCSF professor Stanley Prusiner gave a lecture at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. He talked about his new book, "Madness and Memory: The Discovery of Prions- A New Biological Principle of Disease," which chronicles his discovery of the prion and his eventual winning the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1997. His lecture was a terrific overview of this amazing discovery. Afterwards he graciously answered our questions about prions and signed our books.
